Here’s a recipe for tasty Onion Pie and some pics to go with it.
It was so tasty, it didn’t last long. Don’t you wish you could have been here to enjoy it too?
3 large onions, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons butter
Pillsbury crescent roll dough
Salt & pepper to taste
1 egg
1/2 cup half & half or 2% milk
Cook onions in butter until golden yellow. Spread roll dough in 10” pie pan. Spread onions over dough. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Beat egg with half & half, pour over onions. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 20 minutes until top is slightly browned. Serves 6.
